SUCCESS IN APPLYING INNOVATION AND SCIENTIFIC ACCOMPLISHMENT ACHIEVES DURABLE ECONOMIC EFFECT
Melville, New York, USA, Ultraflex International, Inc., has announced the receipt of the coveted “Innovative Enterprise Award” from the ARC Fund, in cooperation with the Center for the Study of Democracy. Ultraflex, a Ronkonkoma, New York-based engineering, design and contract manufacturing firm, was named winner in the Small to Medium Enterprise category at the 3rd National Innovation Forum, December, 2006 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Ultraflex owns and operates a state-of-the-art ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facility in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Innovative Enterprise Award, given annually, recognizes enterprises that have “successfully applied innovations or scientific accomplishments, thus transforming their modus operandi and achieving durable economic effect”. A panel of renowned innovation and technology experts from industry and academia
selected Ultraflex for the honor. Mario Metodiev, President of Ultraflex International, Inc., accepted the award and remarked:
“It is wonderful to be recognized by a group of one’s peers. The receipt of this award validates our corporate vision of ‘The Essence of Engineering’.”
Traditionally the National Innovation Forum is organized in cooperation with the World Bank Sofia Mission and the Ministry of Economy and Energy. It is supported by the European Commission through the IRC-Bulgaria initiative.
